Natural Lip Care
This is where Bodhi & Fae began.
I first started making lip balms for my daughter Penny after noticing how often her skin seemed to change alongside everything else going on around her. Illness, weather, stress, big emotions. Her lips and the skin around them were often one of the first places I noticed it.
That started me thinking about lip care differently.
Of course a balm needs to care for the skin. Dryness, tightness, weather, biting, picking and those moments when lips simply feel uncomfortable all need practical support.
But our lips are also incredibly sensory.
We touch them. Bite them. Pick at them. Notice tingling and texture. Reach for the same little tin without really thinking about it.
So these balms were made with both things in mind: what the lips need physically, and what the person reaching for them might need in that moment too.
Which lip balm do you need?
For simple, fragrance-free care
Choose Bliss Balm.
No essential oils, no added scent. Just rich botanical lip care for dryness, sensitivity and everyday use. It is the one to choose when you want softness without a sensory blend, and it works beautifully overnight too.
For everyday care and familiar sensory support
Choose Lip Shield.
Made with lemon balm, lavender and Roman chamomile, Lip Shield is the balm to keep close throughout the day. It cares for lips that are prone to dryness or discomfort while giving you something soft, familiar and grounding to reach for when you feel anxious, overwhelmed or notice yourself biting and picking.
For moments that need something more immediate
Choose Lip Saviour Urgent Rescue Balm.
Manuka, peppermint and lavender give Lip Saviour a cooler, fresher sensory feel. It is the one to reach for when lips feel particularly uncomfortable and you want something more noticeable physically, while that cooling sensation can also give you something immediate to focus on when everything else feels a bit much.
Not sure which one?
Choose The Hero Lip Duo.
Lip Shield and Lip Saviour work differently, which is exactly the point. Shield is the familiar everyday balm. Saviour is the cooler rescue option.
Keep one close for the ordinary days and the other for the moments that need more.
Skincare for the nervous system
The balm itself has a practical job, whilst the ritual around it can become something else.
Opening the tin, the familiar scent, the feeling on your lips. Taking a few seconds to stop picking, unclench your jaw, notice what you are doing or simply come back to something familiar. It becomes an anchor into calm.
Small sensory rituals will not make difficult days disappear but they can give you somewhere to put your attention for a moment and sometimes, that little bit of space is exactly what you were looking for when you reached into your pocket in the first place.
