founder of Bodhi & Fae, mother of three, and maker of slow, plant-based skincare remedies handcrafted here in Kent, UK.
What began as a search for gentle, natural solutions for my daughter’s sensitive skin grew into a small-batch skincare brand rooted in herbal wisdom, ancestral knowledge, and the healing magic of nature.
Bodhi & Fae was born at my kitchen table long before the website, the labels, or the jars.
It began with Penny, my daughter, and her recurring skin flare-ups.
When nothing on the high street helped, I turned to herbal medicine, botanical skincare, and skin barrier research, determined to understand her skin and support it gently.
Late nights were spent reading herbal textbooks, blending oils on the stove, and learning everything I could about natural skincare remedies. Balm by balm, I crafted my first formulations focusing on soothing, strengthening, and protecting her sensitive skin without synthetics, toxins, or unnecessary fillers.
From worry to ritual...
But I didn’t just want to ease flare-ups.
I wanted to understand them. And more than anything, I wanted to teach my daughter how to care for herself. How to listen to her skin. How to know when something felt off and how to meet that moment with confidence, not fear.
Along that journey, I discovered something bigger: the way our skin, emotions, and nervous system speak to each other. True healing happens when body and mind are nurtured together - a principle that now guides every Bodhi & Fae creation.

About replacing shame and confusion with gentleness and knowledge.
And it was about giving the next generation something different - something better.
My mission is simple: to raise a healthier, more connected generation by teaching families how to care for their skin naturally. From botanical balms to educational kits, everything is designed to nurture resilience, calm the nervous system, and build lifelong understanding of how the skin works.
