Lip Shield is an everyday botanical balm for lips prone to dryness, sensitivity and visible flare-ups, with a softer sensory ritual woven into something you can carry everywhere.

I originally made it for my daughter after noticing how closely her skin seemed to follow what was happening emotionally. Wind and cold could affect it, of course, but so could tiredness, worry, frustration and those days when everything simply felt a little too much.

I wanted her to have something practical that would soften and protect her lips, but I also wanted it to feel familiar when she reached for it.

Lemon balm became central to the blend. Known traditionally as Melissa, it has been used in European and Middle Eastern herbal traditions during times of restlessness and emotional strain. I paired it with lavender and Roman chamomile to create a soft aromatic experience that sits quietly alongside the skincare.

The result is a lip balm you can use throughout an ordinary day without needing to turn it into a whole wellness ceremony. Apply it before you leave the house, keep it beside your laptop, put it in a school bag or reach for it when your thoughts are getting busy. Sometimes the usefulness is simply in having something familiar to come back to.

Underneath all of that is the same rich botanical base that runs through our lip collection, with cocoa butter, beeswax, coconut, avocado, hemp, tamanu, calendula and vitamin E helping to keep lips soft, conditioned and protected.

Nobody needs to know it is more than a lip balm. That can stay between you and your nervous system.
