Our Philosophy

What makes Bodhi & Fae different?

Bodhi & Fae was founded on a simple belief: skincare should care for more than just skin.

Every product is created to support moments of pause, comfort and connection in a world that often asks us to move too quickly. By combining botanical ingredients with sensory rituals, we aim to nurture both the skin and the nervous system.

Whether it's a calming bath at the end of the day, a soothing balm applied with slow hands, or a moment of quiet connection between parent and child, we believe these small rituals can have a powerful impact on wellbeing.

Why do you talk about nervous system wellbeing?

Modern life places enormous demands on the nervous system. Stress, overstimulation, poor sleep and constant distraction can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and those around us. You cannot have good skin if you are stressed.

Many of our products are designed to encourage sensory experiences that help create moments of calm, comfort and grounding. Warm water, gentle touch, familiar botanical aromas and intentional self-care rituals can all help support a sense of rest, regulation and connection.

What do you mean by ritual skincare?

Ritual skincare is the practice of turning everyday care into a meaningful moment of presence.

Rather than rushing through a routine, a ritual invites you to slow down, engage your senses and create space to reconnect. This might be a calming bath before bed, massaging a balm into tired feet, or sharing a bedtime skincare ritual with your child.

The ritual itself is often just as important as the product.

Why do so many of your products focus on families and children?

Healthy relationships with self-care begin early.

We believe children deserve gentle products, meaningful rituals and opportunities to connect with nature from the very beginning. Many of our products and educational kits are designed to help families slow down, spend time together and build positive associations with caring for both body and mind.

What does "Rooted in nature. Made with magic." mean?

Nature provides the ingredients. The magic happens in the moments they create.

For us, it represents the meeting point between botanical wisdom and human connection...the quiet rituals, shared experiences and sensory moments that help us feel more grounded, cared for and at home in ourselves. Plus, the Fae are magical little beings who protect nature and so we like to weave a little of their magic into everything we create!

If your butter melts and re-solidifies, it’s still completely safe to use - you may notice a little graininess, which simply shows the natural fat molecules have cooled at different speeds. It’s a sign of purity - proof that your balm is natural, handmade, and full of real plant goodness.

  • We recommend using all balms, butters, and bath teas within 6 months of opening for optimal freshness and quality.

  • Every ingredient tells a story. We source through trusted UK suppliers who ensure ethical trade, traceability, and sustainability.
