Traceable Ingredients, Transparent Practices
We believe you deserve to know exactly where your skincare comes from. That’s why we spend countless hours ensuring every ingredient has a story we can proudly share from seed to skin. Wherever possible, we source organic and local botanicals here in the UK, including essential oils grown and distilled on a farm in Norfolk. For ingredients that cannot be grown locally, we only work with suppliers who can demonstrate traceable, ethical practices backed by certifications such as the Soil Association.

Empowering Communities, Protecting Futures
Our Shea butter comes from the Women of Rurah in Ghana. Empowering over 20,000 women to remain in their villages, earn sustainable incomes, and safeguard their communities for generations to come is of vital importance to me. Our Mango butter supports fair-harvesting schemes across India, uplifting 7.8 million tribal people across more than 18,000 rural villages. These partnerships matter: they protect biodiversity, prevent exploitation, and allow communities to thrive while staying rooted in their ancestral lands.

Packaging with Purpose
We refuse to create outer packaging that serves no purpose. Excess layers are wasteful, so we choose simplicity, without compromising on care. Every element of what we do use is recyclable, compostable, or consciously chosen to minimise impact. Even the stamps on our bags and kits are eco-friendly, designed and made in London using the most environmentally responsible methods available. We strive for 100% plastic-free packaging. Whilst the lids on our pots that come in our play kits may look like plastic, they are actually made from PLA (Polylactic Acid), a corn-starch derived material with a far lower carbon footprint in both production and recycling. Our muslin bags are 100% natural and reusable, honouring our belief that beauty should never come at the cost of the Earth.

That’s why we list every ingredient in both its plain English name and INCI (the international cosmetic standard), so you can clearly and easily see what you’re putting on your skin. No apps, no confusion, no hidden agendas. Skincare should be simple, safe, and trusted. We’re here to change the narrative.
